I agree about Portland. I lived in both Washington state and Oregon and loved them both.
For Saudi students here in the USA, they had best beware what they do online and if they give their names out.
I have it on authority that the Saudi Cultural Mission, the organisation in charge of Saudi students here in the USA on the scholarship, indeed watches and monitors blogs, MySpace, and other online venues for Saudi students.
Students, through their postings, found to be doing things that contradict the set of rules and guidlines that are expected of Saudi students studying in the USA will be sent home. These rules are very wide and vague which means a student can be sent home for almost anything.
Good thing, Aya, you keep your blog anonymous. Before the internet it was known that the Embassy had spies who would hang out at Universities and places where Saudi students gather. They would report activities to the Cultural Mission and many Saudi students have been sent home over the years because of it.
But, as always, there is not much some wasta and or reshwa will not fix! {:>)

Amazingly dysfunctional that such tortuous ways have had to be devised in order for young people to connect!! Sadder than the social taboos responsible for this concept itself, is the unspoken but overall rules that seemingly forcefully apply...
One does despair about the rather joyless and shadowy future of the Saudi youth, especially at the realization that all, without nary an exception, do bow down to all censure, reasonable or not.
You have my most sincere sympathy and my prayers.

Then let my girl take a shit in his mouth. On camera. Then mail the tape to a.q. headquarters. Or better yet, take them to a strip club and make them watch while my redneck buddies prepare for an old-fashioned parking-lot ass-whoopin!

1- I am from Hijaz, Saudi Arabia. 2- I am currently studying in the US & fully legal. 3- Since I am an alien (according to the law), I am allowed to make grammatical mistakes and endless run-ons. 4- I do pick sides and call them "educated opinions." The majority of this section is devoted to Chen’s plantwide control design procedure because the methodology proposed in this work is based on Chen’s methodology. Luvben’s Approach A systematic design procedure is presented for plantwide design control structures based on heuristics that were presented by Luyben ILuyben et al. J. This procedure consists of steps that deal with plantwide control issues not being addressed Reebok Zigtech by simply combining the control systems for individual unit operations: Step Establish the objectives ofthe control system.

I couldn't quite see what the fuss about One Day was. It read like well written chick lit to me, nothing wrong with that, I know, but by the time I got to it post the hype and the word of mouth I was expecting something more. The film looks like excellent airplane fodder- I'll be there with my moth eaten cashmere blanket and anti-thrombosis socks - ooh I'm quite looking forward to it.
