7 Things about Me

  • 1- I am from Hijaz, Saudi Arabia. 2- I am currently studying in the US & fully legal. 3- Since I am an alien (according to the law), I am allowed to make grammatical mistakes and endless run-ons. 4- I do pick sides and call them "educated opinions." (I am pro-choice). 5- I believe that the number one worst export of America is "McDonalds", best export, on the other hand, is "Individualism". 6- I am becoming more cynical and less optimistic by the day (Need a cure). 7- I can’t tolerate irrelevance.

I came here for the snow!

I am really disappointed. It is freezing here in New York (- 13 C), yet there is not one inch of snow!NycsnowNyc_snow_2

I hate snow. Come to Colorado and you'll hate it too...Forever!

Please come and be welcome to the great white north: Canada! Cold that stings, and snow galore. It is a time of the year for relaxing with friends or curl up with a good book, while outside all is very beautiful and snow soundproofs all city noises. A season made for reflexion and attending to your intellectual and spiritual needs. That`s how I view it; mind you I have one complaint: too bloody long! Let's see, you can say it really start with the first snow fall, usually end of November, gets really settled in with January and Feb. (ironically the shortest month of the season always seems to never want to end...)and March which can go either way, mean and freezing or mild and slushy. Comes April you are out of the cold grip and looking for robins to show up and tell you it is definetly spring!
Cheer up, you are earning your points and will proudly remember in later years how you managed to live through brusing cold. [;-)
