7 Things about Me

  • 1- I am from Hijaz, Saudi Arabia. 2- I am currently studying in the US & fully legal. 3- Since I am an alien (according to the law), I am allowed to make grammatical mistakes and endless run-ons. 4- I do pick sides and call them "educated opinions." (I am pro-choice). 5- I believe that the number one worst export of America is "McDonalds", best export, on the other hand, is "Individualism". 6- I am becoming more cynical and less optimistic by the day (Need a cure). 7- I can’t tolerate irrelevance.

Are We that *&%! Up?

I apologize for not posting for the last couple of weeks. I have been overwhelmed by some matters that I need to take care of. In addition to stressing out about my own personal and school related issues, the news that has been flying around lately about Saudi Arabia’s possible involvement in Iraq are quite disturbing (got to make use of acquired weapons right?). The so-called increasing tensions between Iran and Saudi Arabia are self-inflicted and made possible through an unimaginable amount of greed and sick desire for territorial, economic and religious expansion from both sides. In addition, the dosage of Sunni is superior to Shiite and Shiite is superior to Sunni poison, abundantly injected into the minds of our populations, is at an all time high. How did we reach this level? What is it that we can do to stop this insanity? Or is it even possible?

+ Happy New Year. It is 1428!

Happy Islamic New Year, people!!!... Let's party like it's 1428. Yeeeeeeehaaaaawwwww!!

Go get your guns because this year is going to be a bangin' year; and not in a good sense.

This year, Iran will be attacked by Israel but not before having incited a Sunni vs. Shiite war in Iraq where the Saudis will provide the weapons (made in the USA) and Sunni infantry. Iran will be attacked from the East by the US through Afghanistan and from the West by the Saudis and Israelis; but on the other side, Iran will be supported by the Russians since no war involving Muslims is complete without them.

So, Happy New Year everyone. Make sure you don't go home for a visit, otherwise you might not get out in time for Thanksgiving Dinner.

Wow, Infidel might be able to win a fiction prize with that one.

The US will not attack Iran, but they very well might allow Israel to do it. There are credible reports that Israel is considering tactical nuclear munitions to do the job.

What I find interesting is the back door cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Israel. Never thought you'd seen Prince Bandar mkaing nice with the "Yahoodis" drinking their Manischewitz, but there it is.

I guess Bandar has no problem with the "Joooos" as he seems to think that the Shi'a are even worse than those residing in Tel Aviv.

What is intersting as well is the level at which these pro-war workings with the Israelis have caused rifts in the royal family, most notibly between Bandar and Turki.

So no American attack on Iran this year. America will be too busy with the worsening situation in Iraq. The US War College has already shown that only a prolonged air campaign with follow up troops would start to remove the Iranian nuclear issue, and we all know the US doesnt have more troops.

This year will be the year that the US people, if not the government, admit defeat in Iraq. The "surge" will be a failure as even the incoming General has said that tens of thousands more troops would be required to pacify Baghdad than are currently in the plans.

Never mind if we decide to take out as-Sadr and he decides not to play into American plans and doesnt fight where the US troops are in Baghdad, but rather tears up the fleeing British troops in the south.

One thing you can guarantee, and the Republicans know this, attack Iran, along with the failure in Iraq, and the Presidency is a shoe in for whatever Democrat decides to show up.

Indeed, I've noticed this tension lately and it's bigger than before on the level of the people and the goverment. are we going to be used as Iraq was used before, maybe since the people are ignorant and tend to believe whatever said to them ?
I can hear it at mosques at Friedays, the sound that make me worry, especially if you dress anything a religous dress people accept it !

Aya, I am just as terrified. You know what pains me? WE NEVER EVEN HAD THIS IN THIS PAST. Neither did the Iraqis, watching this madness is breaking my heart.
I have a friend who is half sunni, half shia (and yes she's Saudi from Hofuf) she said her mother, who is shiite, only recently (early 90s) found out that she was any different from her father.
My own father had college buddies who he only NOW knows were even shia. I doubt there are even any shia/sunni friendships now, let alone marriages.
What is happening to us? In the wake of an information revolution, I think we are finally realizing that ignorance really was bliss.
As for the Saudis, just when I thought that perhaps we can start to learn from OTHERS' mistakes, (as exemplified in Iraq this time) to prevent making them ourselves, I am disappointed beyond belief. Instead we managed to twist it and interpert it so that it serves some perverted bigot's personal agenda (more like 38 bigots. ahhh). We probably will reap the same rewards as those who made it before us, then.

Happy 1428 Saudi, hope you're happy when you and the collective asshats around you are "saudi" alone, famished, poor and occupied.

I dont remember any tensions or friction between the saudis & israelis!
israelis are not after saudia arabia nor are they interested in converting saudis into jews. On the other hand, Iran has interests in saudia arabia's eastern coast rich with oil, they can influence saudi shiites. Iran thinks nationalistic but acts stirring religious sentiments.

Mark my words, my dear friends, here is what's going to happen:

1. The US will position more war ships in the Gulf although Iraq obviously does not need more of these ships for any militia fighting in Baghdad. (http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/military/20070121-9999-1m21deploy.html)

2. The US will send F-16 fighter jets to Turkey, which officially cannot be used in Iraq since we refused to help so they are standing by. (http://www.menewsline.com/stories/2007/january/01_16_3.html)

3. Russian's are helping Iran, of course. The Cold War wound will never heal. (http://www.playfuls.com/news_10_9397-Russia-Completes-Delivery-Of-Anti-aircraft-Missile-Systems-To-Iran.html)

4. Israel is seriously contemplating a small nuclear attack on Iran. (http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2007030580,00.html)

5. Ah, what the heck!! The US wants to chime in to help a friend. (http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=viewArticle&code=20070121&articleId=4537)

6. The Saudis are now ready after trying to figure out how to use those newly acquired weapons from Russia, France, China, and Britain (http://www.defensenews.com/story.php?F=2095877&C=europe
http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9E01EFDD1231F936A25751C1A9609C8B63&n=Top%2fReference%2fTimes%20Topics%2fSubjects%2fA%2fArms%20Sales%20Abroad)

7. 2 + 2 = 4 Tic toc, tic toc, tic toc...

I would really love to dismiss everything I've just posted as conspiracy theorist paranoia, and usually I would, but unfortunately, this time, I don't think it is.

You're right about one thing though, Abu Sinan. A democrat will be the next prez, especially after this new mess...

May 1428 bring a willingness to listen, to respect the other viewpoints, to compromise, to remember we are all share the same world as well as the responsabilities for its care, and above all may we endeavor to work towards acheiving some peace to the wretches Iraqis.
On a more personal note may all of you have a happy New Year!
Infidel,
Thanks, those links are an eyeful! However what is to come, notwithstanding the auguries, is more often than not driven by the unpredictable.

Oups...wretched Iraqis...

Northern Shewolf,

I wish I could say that these latest developments are still as unpredictable as buying a lottery ticket. But they are not, we past the stage of unpredictability a while ago. Now, it seems just a matter of very little time. In fact, I think the first strike is going to come before June, and that's being optimistic. Most analysts are saying that it will happen in March or April.

Infidel,
I sincerely hope you are proven wrong; though I am not all that optimistic...

Welcome to the world that generated by a government of hate and discontent.

Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states have to deal with the reality of a nuclear Iran. It scares then and frankly, it should. Saudi interests in Iraq are related to this increasingly aggressive Iranian approach. If Iranian connected militias in Iraq gain control, that significantly shifts the balance of power in the region. I think Saudi interest is less suni/shia and more Iran verses the rest of the area.

While radical Muslim leaders hate the west, they have just as much contempt for “relatively moderate” Muslim governments. If you think Iraq falling to Iranian connected client radicals is good because it adversely affects the west, you need to look at the implications for the area and your own countries. I have no fondness for Saudi Arabia, been there and found it oppressive and dark; however, I would wish for the Saudi people freedom and self-determination not subjugation by an oppressive, radical movement.

Just my opinion.

I think the Sunni/Shi'a issue, just like the Palestinian issue, is one that the governments of the area use to their own advantage.

I think the establishment in Saudi would be less worried about Iran if they didnt treat their 15% Shi'a community so badly.

Abu Sinan

I agree that the Sunni / Shi'a issue is a cover for real intentions although there is more than likely some degree of commitment to the issue.

I also agree with your second statement but would include the vast majority of all citizens in the better treatment. Nothing like having a real say in your government and future thought self-determination for the population to be committed to the government. This crosses ethnic, religious, or other artificial divisions.

I wish the Saudi people well in their quest for more self determination.

1428 indeed and Islam seems to be about as morally developed as the west was during its own reckoning of 1428.

Aya,

It is official:

Saudi Arabia names US ambassador

Saudi Arabia has named a US-educated foreign policy expert as the kingdom's new ambassador to Washington.

Adel al-Jubeir, an aide to King Abdullah, will replace Prince Turki al-Faisal, who resigned last month after just over a year in the job.

Officials said Prince Turki wanted to spend more time with his family.

There have also been suggestions that Prince Turki might be named as Saudi Arabia's foreign minister, or that he quit over differences with Riyadh.

Mr Jubeir's appointment was announced in a royal decree.

Chill Guys,
The only attack on Iran will come from Israel when the USA permits it.Iraq is a debacle of note which will cost the US/UK dear for years to come.
As a Brit I have fond memories of Tabuk and the saudi people.
The UK now is currently battling the uprising of misguided muslims hell bent on introducing Sharia law. Please lets get with the programme and relax
